I am a Christian not because I was born into a Christian family (I was) or live in a Christian country (some say the US is). I am a Christian not because I go to a certain church (which I do). I am a Christian because I realized I could not save myself and needed a savior; Jesus Christ. He provided a way - shedding His blood on the cross - for me to be redeemed.
Being a Christian does not mean I am perfect. I am not. Being a Christian means I am forgiven; washed in the blood of Christ. I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior - my sacrificial lamb.
